The breakfast fave gets a festive update with nian gao and banana slices sandwiched in between slices of golden toasts.
INGREDIENTS

3 – 4 eggs, beaten

30 g unsalted butter

2 slices white bread

6 slices nian gao
-
3 small bananas, sliced

Golden maple syrup, to drizzle
STEPS 01. Egg wash the white bread.
STEPS 02. Heat butter in pan and fry bread till golden brown.
STEPS 03. Place slices of nian gao and bananas on a slice of toast.
STEPS 04. Bake toast in oven for 1 min.
STEPS 05. Remove and slice into halves.
STEPS 06. Drizzle golden maple syrup over before serving.
